V-Brakes

V-Brakes The V-Brake system is a long cantilever arm, side-pull (or linear pull) braking system. Otherwise known as rim brakes, they work by doing exactly as the name suggests. Brake pads close onto the rim, thus slowing the bicycle down. Lightweight Stopping Power Extremely lightweight and with great stopping power these systems are standard issue on many bikes and still favoured by some top racers, who prefer them to disc brakes due to their light weight.
