Women's cycling and racing is developing fast and many manufacturers are producing women-specific bikes and accessories. However, female dimensions vary just as much as male dimensions, so beware of paying over the odds for a woman-specific bicycle that may not fit! Often these bikes simply comprise of shorter cranks, narrower handlebars and a female saddle.

At AW Cycles we fit bikes to suit each unique individual, male or female. Specifically we take account of all the characteristics of a rider and ensure that women who require smaller frames get a bike that fits them perfectly without compromising any aspect of performance. For example, we make sure that smaller women's frames have an appropriate stem length to prevent the cycle from becoming 'twitchy'.
